It was discovered through thorough investigation that a player from Indian River State College allowed an ineligible players to access their account and play in their place for official matches in CCA Summer Series 2022 East Open #1. This action has broken several CCA Summer Series 2022 rules, which will result in Indian River State College Open points forfeiture and competitive bans for several of the players involved.

7.2.1 Unfair Play
Playing or allowing another Player to play on a Psyonix account registered in another person’s name (or soliciting, encouraging, or directing someone else to do so).
8.1.1 Cooperation
Players agree to fully cooperate with CCA and/or a Tournament Administrator (as applicable) in the investigation of possible violations of these Rules. If CCA and/or a Tournament Administrator contacts a Player to discuss the investigation, the Player must be truthful in the information that he or she provides to CCA and/or a Tournament Administrator. Any Player found to have withheld, destroyed, or tampered with any related information, or otherwise found to have misled CCA and/or a Tournament Administrator during an investigation, will be subject to disciplinary action as further described in Section 8.2.
8.1.2 Removal
Players understand and agree that CCA has the right, in its sole discretion, to remove a Player from or restrict such Player’s participation in any Tournament event as part of any investigation conducted by CCA and/or a Tournament Administrator (as applicable) pursuant to Section 8.1.1.
8.2.1 Disciplinary Actions
If CCA decides that a Player has violated the Code of Conduct or any term of the Rules, CCA may take the following disciplinary actions (as applicable):
- Match restart;
- Loss of Game;
- Match forfeiture;
- Issue a private or public warning (verbal or written) to the Player;
- Loss of all or any part of the Scholastic Awards previously awarded to the Player;
- Disqualify the Player from participating in one or more Matches and/or sessions at the Tournament; or
- Prevent the Player from participating in one or more future competitions hosted by CCA.

All CCA Summer Series 2022 Open points earned by Indian River State College will be forfeited. In addition to forfeited points, CCA event competitive bans will be issued (as shown below) for all of the players involved. This ban extends to any events falling under the CCA and eFuse event scope.
- Jenny Benny – CCA competitive ban until July 25th, 2023
- Goldbuckle – Indefinite CCA competitive ban. A chance to appeal after one year of collegiate eligibility.
Indian River State College players not mentioned above are eligible to compete in remaining CCA Summer Series 2022 Open events with an eligible roster.
